loans
In the UK there are people who are being forced to take out loans to cover their dental expenses because there is a lack of NHS services. They need the dental treatments and are being forced to go to private dentists. This in turn is causing a need for loans to pay for the treatments. Also people who have neglected to visit the dentist for a while are finding out they have no other option but to go to a private dentist. This causes great distress to people being forced to borrow money to pay for their dental work. Seven percent of people who take out loans without telling anyone used the extra money to pay for medical expenses, two percent for cosmetic surgery. Secured Loans are one way people can get what they need, when they need it. It's frustrating that the things you need so bad have to be so expensive. It sometimes just doesn't make sense to me.

easy rolls
3/4 cup water water (98 to 105 degrees F)
2 1/2 cups plus 1/2 to 1 cup prepared biscuit mix
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butterPreheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Dissolve the yeast in the water. Put the 2 1/2 cups of biscuit mix in a large bowl; stir in the sugar. Add the yeast mixture, stirring vigorously. Sprinkle the work surface generously with the remaining 1/2 to 1 cup biscuit mix.
Turn the dough out onto the surface and knead well, 15 to 20 times. Shape the dough as desired. (I shape heaping tablespoons of dough into balls). Place on a lightly greased baking sheet, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Just before putting into oven, brush rolls with melted butter. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush the rolls again with melted butter while they're hot.

debt
Debt is such a four letter word! There are so many people out there now trying to help you get on track with your debt like Dave Ramsey, etc. I think our main debt is our house and vehicles. I can't really imagine not having a house payment. I think some people work toward getting the house paid off and I think that is wonderful, but it's not a priority for me now. I remember times when we had other debt like credit cards and bank loans that the payments were as much as our salary. That is scary! Especially when you don't see a way out! Fortunately we were never forced to declare bankruptcy and were always able to get money from another pot to pay off something and now we just don't use credit cards very often. Maybe for large purchases, but not for day to day things. There are other alternatives, like a IVA. An IVA is a legally binding agreement between you and all the people and organisations you owe money to (your creditors). You can try to arrange an IVA when there is no real prospect of paying off all your debts. With the help of a licensed insolvency practitioner, you work out what you can realistically afford to pay back over a period of time - often 3-5 years. If three-quarters of your creditors agree, all your debts and the future interest on them will be frozen at the time that the IVA proposal is agreed. Your creditors will usually forego some of the debt you owe and at the end of the agreed period these debts are written off provided you have kept up with the negotiated monthly IVA payments. As long as you are confident you can maintain the regular monthly payment that is agreed an IVA could be the solution for you and you could be completely debt free in five years!

caramel chocolate puffs
16
Defrost the cream puffs according to the label directions. In a small saucepan, over medium-high heat, bring 3/4 of the caramel sauce to a boil. Boil for 1 minute or until the sauce thickens into a chewy glaze. Holding a cream puff with tongs or speared on a fork, dip one side of the puff into the caramel, then place on a dessert plate. Repeat with the remaining puffs, arranging 4 on each plate. A few minutes before serving, warm the hot fudge sauce over low heat. Spoon it around the plated cream puffs. For a Valentine's Day touch, drop 3 small dollops of the remaining unboiled caramel sauce into the hot fudge sauce on each plate. With a toothpick, draw a line through the drops to form hearts.

I'm thankful for birthdays.
A day set aside to remember the day of birth, to rejoice in the life.
Thank you God for children.
I'm thankful for friends, new and old.
Like the old saying goes,
"Make new friends, but keep the old
one is silver and the other gold."
Thank you God for friends.
I'm thankful for family.
My family and Matt's family.
Now one family.
Thank you God for family.
I'm thankful for my marriage.
Through good and bad it's solid.
Thank you God for marriage.
I'm thankful for church.
For encouraging messages
and the presence of God.
Thank you God for church.
I'm thankful for forgiveness.
To have a Father who loves me in spite of weaknesses.
A Father who knows my heart and looks at my heart rather than mistakes.
That's love. Forgivness.
Thank you God for forgiving me.
I'm thankful for you.
Thank you God

cheesy creamed corn
I think I have had it once or twice at a potluck dinner.
I may try it out this weekend!
- 3 packages (16 ounces each) frozen corn
- 2 packages (one 8 ounces, one 3 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 3 tablespoons water
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 6 slices process American cheese, cut into small pieces
~
In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine all the ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until heated through and the cheese is melted. Stir well before serving. Yield: 12 servings.
giant omelet
2 cups fat-free liquid egg substitute (like Egg Beaters)
1/2 cup fat-free milk
1/2 cup reduced-fat shredded cheese (any flavor)
1 cup sliced bell peppers (any color)
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
1/2 cup sliced onions
1 tbsp. reduced-fat parmesan-style grated topping
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. black pepper
Optional toppings: ketchup, salsa, hot sauce
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Into a deep, round casserole dish (about 9 inches wide) sprayed with nonstick spray, pour egg substitute and milk. Add shredded cheese, tomatoes, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well, and then set aside.
Bring a large pan sprayed with nonstick spray (butter-flavored spray if you have it) to high heat. Stirring occasionally, cook peppers, onions, and mushrooms for 2 minutes (just long enough to brown the outsides). Add veggies to the casserole dish, and mix well.
Place dish in the oven and cook for 30 minutes. Next, carefully remove the dish from the oven and evenly cover with parm-style topping. Return it to the oven, and cook for 20 - 25 minutes longer (until the top has puffed and is firm). Allow to cool slightly before cutting. Then, if you like, finish off with the optional ingredients (or any of your fave omelette toppers!).
